CEO: Mark Brezinski MD,PhD,CPT

Dr. Brezinski is a functional movement and fitness specialist. He is a Harvard trained internist, with a PhD in exercise physiology, and a certified personal trainer. Dr. Brezinski grew up around fitness centers as his mother was a prominent CPT. Though in the 90’s he did his fellowship in cardiology and became an attending at Massachusetts General Hospital, practicing functional movement also began at this time. Through the 90‘s he covered the Brockton VA (in honor of his father who was a decorated pilot and POW in WWII) several days a month, where he not only covered the ER but the massive long-term care facilities. He began his clinical practice of the non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disease. His research focus also was predominately in musculoskeletal disease where he won the Presidential Award from President Clinton in 1998 (the first winner for musculoskeletal disease). He would also be named one of the top researcher in Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s 100 year history (2011) for this work. In 2000 he formally became a member of the Orthopedics Department of Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
